Drawing Retreat 2 June

Learn to see and not just look at the nature surrounding us and then describe it on canvas.

Guided by local artist, illustrator and fellow farmer Jo McGrath you’ll learn and improve on your pencil sketches observing the horses in their natural environment, working towards a finished ‘memory’ that captures this very special day of mindful creativity amidst the serenity of the Cumbrian outdoors.

You’ll work with the changing light and shadows as well as the moving horses and if it’s the landscape that captivates your time is yours to up sticks, find a quiet corner of the field or fell to let go and create with as much or as little of Jo’s guidance as you need.

To secure your place on this retreat, you can opt to pay in full or pay a £30 deposit (non-refundable) – just click on either and then click ‘Add to basket’. Any balance must be paid 2 weeks before the retreat date. If paying in full, we request you pay any Bank Transfer within 48 hours or send cheques within 5 days.
